Thank you for checking out my blog. I write about politics, theology, current events, and just about anything else that crosses my mind.
I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and have served in the ministries of FBC Frisco and Heritage Grace Community Church. I am an Army veteran with deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle. I work full-time as a business analyst and have extensive software development experience. On the side, I follow NFL and college football, blog about various topics, and play the occasional video game. I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
I occasionally run to help stay in shape. My recent races include the Tour des Fleurs 10K (Dallas, TX 2012), New Years Double Half-Marathon (Allen, TX 2012), and Wounded Warrior Half-Marathon (Las Colinas, TX 2013).
I train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu at Gracie Gym in Plano, Texas under Alex Faria, a black belt under Roger Gracie (and former head instructor at his London academy). I placed first in the white belt, heavyweight division at the Submission Challenge tournament August 2015 in Plano, Texas.
I am married with three kids– two girls and one boy.
